Welcome to Coldfinger 3D – a small Swiss company born out of a true passion for technology, design, and solving everyday problems.

How it all began

Over 15 years ago, I discovered 3D printing as a hobby – initially as a support for model building. What started as a leisure activity quickly became much more. The decisive moment came when I needed a spare part for my job that had a very long delivery time. Instead of waiting, I quickly designed it myself and printed it at home. It worked – and with that, the spark was finally ignited.

From problem to solution

Since then, a simple principle has applied to me: wherever something bothered me or I didn't like something, I tried to create a better alternative – practical, beautiful, and suitable for a modern home. This is how more and more objects were created over the years, which I designed, refined, and finally shared with others.

This journey has led me deep into the world of design, various printing processes, and 3D scanning. I have continuously expanded my knowledge and further refined my skills.

Eventually, encouragement from my friends and acquaintances led me to offer my creations to others. This is how Coldfinger 3D was born – a place where handcrafted 3D prints from Switzerland find a new home.
